Killer Loop sunglasses take their name from a spectacular surf trick that used to be performed in the 1980s. Killer Loop was first created specifically as a sport eyewear range in 1990, but has now emerged as a quite unique sports and street wear brand, offering a range of footwear, apparel, snowboards, skateboards and accessories. The company take pride in developing innovative and high quality products and apparel, putting an emphasis on the balance of design and style. They use a crack testing force of world class sporting competitors which guarantees that the products will meet the best possible standards of durability and performance.

Having started out solely as a range of eyewear in 1990, Killer Loop began in 1993 to introduce a full range of apparel for the beach and for snowboarders, in addition to a collection of “hard goods”, otherwise known as bindings, boards and boots. At the same time, Killer Loop formed the first rider team to represent the brand in sporting competitions.

Once these products were released, Killer Loop decided to expand the brand’s presence out of the USA and into Europe and Japan as 1994 went by.

In 1998, the hard goods and apparel collections were extended so that it included shoes, street wear and skateboards, which are a natural extension of the surfing and snow boarding world.

Looking to increase the reach of the brand, Killer Loop released a video game in 1999 for Sony Playstation and the PC. The game is called Killer Loop of course, and has been very successful marketing tool for the company as it gets the name in front of the same people who might buy its apparel.

In 2001 Killer Loop expanded its product line further into school wear, into sports socks and even perfume licences.

As for the Killer Loop sunglasses though, they have many features that contribute to their high quality. The frames are made of a strong lightweight polyamide and have excellent temperature stability, being able to go down to -40 degrees and up to 80 degrees without being caused too much trouble.
