Psychic children - has your child had a psychic experience?

Children are supposed to be psychic up until the age of seven - the age of reason. It is believed that children are forced to unlearn this ability as they become conditioned to exist in modern society. There are various games you can play with your child to encourage and test their psychic abilities. It is better to do it in the form of a game because the child is more likely to want to participate. Put photographs in a sealed envelope and ask the child to identify which picture is in which envelope. Another game is to get a group together and get a personal item from each person or child. Put the objects in a bag and shake them up and ask each person to pull an object out of the bag. This is so they don't know who the object belongs to. They then have to hold the object and write down any impressions that come into their mind. They should then be able to identify the owner of the object. This game is working with the skill of psychometry which is receiving impressions through touch.

Encourage your child to discuss their dreams with you. This is one way of identifying any issues or concerns a child may have. You can interpret the dreams together.

Dowsing is a fun activity for a child. This is trying to locate water by walking round with a forked stick, willow works well, or forked bit of metal. Hold the end with the two forks out in front of you, walk around and when the dowsing stick moves, you have found water under the earth. Map dowsing involves holding a pendulum over a map - this can be used for finding lost objects or people.

Encouraging your child to meditate or join a meditation class can help them develop their psychic abilities.
